Home, At Last

Considering we were only travelling from Sheffield to Penrith the journey took us 6 hours. This included a break at Mainsgill for a late lunch but we were diverted off the A1(M) due to flooding.

That was better than #2 Daughter managed: she boarded her train to Edinburgh, only to find that it wouldn't be going past Newcastle. She had to get her sister to drive back to the station and take her back to theirs for a further night.

We said goodbye to the family this morning. It had been so nice seeing them all. I arrived home with no blip so I took one of the neighbour's cheerful wall display, trying to catch it as it moves quickly. Mobile phone to the rescue!
