Foggy Journey
We made our way home today after a few lovely days with The Daughters and The Grandchildren. We are so lucky that they host us and The B-I-L every Christmas.
The journey was a bit misty up to Scotch Corner but then traffic was quite slow along the A66, partly due to thick fog. And yet, some idiots don't use their lights. Turn them on! They cost nothing to run and could save your life.
We stopped at Mainsgill for lunch and had an uneventful journey. I was pleased to get a blip from the car window as we travelled along.
The Daughters have spent a couple of days pestering me to grease my arms to cure my skin condition. After 20 years, #1 Daughter has got rid of her pre-auricular eczema so I'm taking notice. She gifted me one of her tubs of Morrison's Aqueous Cream - with a warning (see extra).
