Christmas Day

We got up and finished packing up this morning - including all the ingredients and tools for Christmas dinner - then got on the road to my Mum's, arriving shortly after midday.  Lovely to see her, and we had a lovely festive day.  Started with a quick lunch of sandwiches, then opened presents (we got some fab ones, and Mum seemed very pleased with hers, too) - and then Tim cooked us a delicious dinner of salmon wellington with all the trimmings.  Yum.

We watched It's a Wonderful Life in the afternoon/evening, and Tim and I watched Home Alone when Mum went to bed.  Lovely happy relaxing day :)
