White Christmas

Driving through the mist and fog on Christmas Day morning, to my Mum's in Somerset.  Very atmospheric.  We had a lovely day with Mum - got there not long after midday, had 'second breakfast' and opened presents, etc, then Tim cooked our dinner (delicious salmon en croute) in the afternoon, with the odd bit of help from me, while Mum and I subjected him to Bert Kampfert, and Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band, followed by some soothing Steppenwolf ;)

After Mum had gone to bed, Tim and I watched Die Hard With a Vengeance.  I cannot believe I've never seen it before - how is this possible?  Anyway, it was suitably entertaining and preposterous in equal measure.
