Weary

A busy period finally caught up with me today. I had to get up at 0430 to take L to the airport, but when I got back, just after 6.30am, I promptly got back into bed and didn't get up until after 8am. The most energetic thing I've done is walk down to the supermarket with Mr A.

Meanwhile, I've worked (somewhat desultorily, I must admit) and engaged with Highland Broadband who decided they were not fitting our fibre broadband connection today. Actually, I was pretty unimpressed with them, not least because the connection has been left by the team digging up the streets of Tain in the wrong place (in our view), and now they are proposing to bring the connection in through our bedroom wall, which would mean having the router in our bedroom. That's a non starter as far as I'm concerned. If they cannot do a proper job of bringing it into the house, they can stuff their fibre broadband as far as I'm concerned. I'm actually feeling a bit perkier this evening, but I'll be taking a very early night.

An emergent hellebore flower gave me my blip on a pretty grey day (although friends who went for a walk near Scotsburn seemed to have a nice day for it, from the pictures posted on social media.
