Rise and shine

Another busy day to end a very busy period. [Back blipping on Monday, very tired, and looking forward to a few days of doing very little...]

L accompanied me over to Shandwick Beach, where I joined some of the swimmers in a Sunday swim. It was just a ten minute dip, but very refreshing indeed, and we had lovely light and mainly a stone free experience (apart from on the beach getting down to the sea).

Then we cleaned up the house ready for visitors, before L and I did the Quilts walk to get some steps in. Our wee party was very wee, but fun none the less. We had a few people come through the house and some nice chat. All very relaxing.

We got to bed reasonably early as there was a very early start ahead of two of us.
