Walked down to a very busy station - no rain though! Took a set of keys with me as D had messaged me to say that she had heard all trains to Kings Cross were cancelled . Wasn’t showing on lner website though. Arrived to find that train was delayed , but only by about 20 minutes. I had managed to get a seatfrog upgrade to 1st class again, which I was very pleased as the train was really busy due to all the cancellations yesterday. Journey was good for me though lots of people standing and the catering staff were overwhelmed so lots of people got very cross about their food not arriving in time. Had a nice walk ( bit of blue sky and sunshine)across Newark to change stations . Missed my connection but only had to wait 20 minutes for the next one. Got home and greeted the cats who were mildly interested to see me. Unpacked, did some laundry and a couple of chores then went out for Bridge class. Easy lesson this week ( weak twos) but playing is trickier as the hands get more complex and we (are supposed to) know more complex techniques.
