Beat The Clock

A bit of a rushed blip today as I’ve got very little time between setting up this afternoon and having to go back out to do the gig this evening. Problems with the PA meant that we didn’t finish sound checking until 5.30. I arrived home to get changed about 6.30 and have to be heading out again at 7.00 in order to get back to the venue on time and I need to grab something for tea on the way!
But I’m not the only one having problems - Mrs C has been in Manchester today but there are currently no trains home as a power line has come down between Piccadilly and Oxford Road. There is a possibility that I might have to drive to Manchester after finishing my gig in Barrow, though that won’t be until around midnight!
So, not sure how the evening will end but at least I’m all set up to give the newly rebuilt bass a good workout tonight.
