On the banks of the Allan Water
Late afternoon in Bridge of Allan. Another dreich day with fast fading light.
The town has a Christmassy feel about it with shops, and eateries well decorated. ( See extra).
Sadly, we don’t have the same flamboyant Christmas street lights we had a few years ago. The donor, a former local businessman, Roger Ball, is currently doing 18years in jail for importing cocaine in a shipload of bananas from Ecuador.
He left the area some time ago, taking the lights with him, after his car, a Mercedes costing over £100,000, was torched.
