Stone Diary

How does an artist interpret Scottish landscape for the 21st century?  
 
Many have risen to the challenge and the result is: Shifting Vistas- 250 years of Scottish art currently the subject of an exhibition in the City centre gallery, Edinburgh.
 
My favourite piece is the award-winning video film , Stone Diary, by environmental artists Dalziel and Scullion entitled Stone Diary.
 
 
Their thoughtful and sensitive film examining the Scottish landscape through stone offers an innovative and thoughtful approach to this iconic landscape.
