Skyscapes
Hospital day, and an extremely long one.
The main blip is our view first thing, as the Sun was rising in the south-east. A clear sky and (out of sight here) a waning moon.
After spending time with J I then had a trip into Chester. My plan was a visit to the cathedral for lunch in the cavernous refectory, but it was closed for a private event. Chester College’s graduation ceremony, so a mix of mortar boards, gowns and Christmas trees (extra). Then a circuit of the city walls, including a diversion across the river. Extra, the Dee weir, water loudly cascading over it. Finally, a burger at the Christmas market for lunch. What had started as a cold bright day ended greyly overcast. Back to the hospital for mid-afternoon, and then a very long wait.
We were glad to be home for the evening, although a late night as we has some issues to deal with. My first use of the 111 service, which I found difficult to deal with whilst attending to the patient, but a doctor who called back was helpful. We slept well.
