Decorating proceeding apace

R and two others arrived promptly this morning at 0800.  And have impressed us with their industry.

They've already finished the dining room - gone from green to a dark cream sort of colour.  Once painted, they kindly lifted our very heavy piano onto some cup feet, whilst putting it back into its corner.  And here, repairing the loose curtain pole bracket before rehanging the curtains.

They've also pretty much finished the kitchen and adjacent dining area - gone from a rather dark red to a pale green, with a darker feature wall for interest - see extra, which was taken before the last coat on the feature wall was finished.  There's a little bit of touching up to do in the kitchen.

And their final job - I  think they hope to get it done in one day, but that might be pushing it, will be the garden room - quite a big job, because of the high ceiling.

Before they go, we'll book them for next February for the next stage.
