It's Melting

We took the food donation to Strathbrock and while we were there there was notification of another pickup just up the road - so we headed there when we had finished.
It is just as well we didn't get the notification earlier as we wouldn't have managed to get it in the car .... it was another big donation.

I went out to the Post Office this afternoon.
They have turned into a bunch of highway robbers.....
An A5 padded envelope with no weight to it.......
"It has to go as a parcel".
Why?
"It wont go through a letterbox"
It goes through my standard letterbox
"Well it is more than 5mm thick - so that is the rules".
"Do you want it tracked and signed for?"
Yes please.
"That will be £15.........."
Well in case - No Thank You
"How about just signed for?"
and that will be?........
"£8"
Just posted?
"2 1st class and 2 2nd class stamps".

It is no wonder that people are not sending stuff via Royal Mail these days.

Despite it being very grey and colourless outside, I managed to find some colour in the roses on the windowsill (there are two other colours over there too).
