I Have Never Noticed That Before

I took the pressure cooker out of the dishwasher this morning and saw the rainbow across the bottom of it.
SWMBO asked if it was made from Titanium. I told her if it was, it would have cost a damned sight more than we paid for it.

The pond was frozen over again, so I went out to open it up. The broken ice looked very white against the unbroken stuff.

Although the pond was frozen it was claiming to be 3 or 4 degrees above freezing, it was a dreich, damp day that feels much colder and gets into your bones, so I was only out in the garage for a short time drilling a couple of holes and putting wax on a couple of completed pieces.

I have tried turning a couple of birds ... This was the first one. Not brilliant, but it is a learning curve,
The second one is a bit better although the beak is maybe slightly too long. I do like the colour one one side of it though. I haven't added any colour - it was in the wood.
