Two crowns
With snow falling yesterday evening I was hoping for a snowy blip especially as there was a weather warning for ice until lunchtime, but we awoke to a murky morning with rain!
Singing as usual first thing with a run through of the songs we are doing in our concerts on the 17th December at Bingley Arts Centre. No shopping today as we will be away later in the week but we did get some essential replenishment bottles of Gluhwein for both home and to take to Bath, it went down well this weekend, as well as a coffee in Bingley.
We should have been delivering the village newsletter and Christmas card this afternoon as we had no time at the weekend, another potential blip opportunity but it’s raining so much that not only would we be wet through but the newsletters would be too!
So, as the girls have trimmed the tree this weekend.you have two of my new Christmas tree ornaments. Last year I visited Buckingham Palace with Grace and got a bauble from there as well as one celebrating the late Queens Platinum Jubilee and London 2022. I thought it only right that I should get something this year for the Kings coronation. Rather liked the embroidered crown and then whilst visiting Dumfries House in May I saw the similar tartan version celebrating Scotland, and why not!
Bring back the frost and sun soon please.
