Sunday Soup

Soupe Italienne "Minestrone" on today's menu. 99% of the time I make soup from scratch, but this caught my eye when we were grocery shopping the other day. I've had G's mum's classic traditional minestrone and make my own version, so we'll see how this compares and what my Italian husband thinks of it.  :-)
I've noticed more products that are made in Italy appearing in both of the bigger grocery stores on the island. I'm wondering why. The canned authentic San Marzano tomatoes that I've used are very good.
