Oswestry Christmas Parade

This morning I went to the Rotary Christmas parade through the town.  Lots of floats etc. drove along throwing sweets into the crowd and volunteers collecting money for local charities.

I, my granddaughter, was on the Guides/Brownies float and she's in one of the photos throwing sweets.  There's also a man standing in the snow machine snow and the Porthywaen Band (I liked the reflections in the instruments).

Afterwards I went to the library and then looked around the Christmas tree festival at Christ Church, again in aid of local charities. I've put a photo in extras. As I walked back to get my car, it started to snow although it didn't last long.
