Yesterday I spent all morning working on the family calendars that I'm making.  The weather was sunny so cast lovely light on the seedheads in the garden including these of the astrantia.

In the afternoon the heavy rain came in which coincided with collecting I from school.  Afterwards we painted Christmas trees - I introduced her to painting using sponges.
