St Margaret's Church, Bodelwyddan (Marble Church)
TUESDAY
Following the hospital blood tests and chest x-ray of a couple of weeks ago (which indicated that I was normal), I had an 8:00 am appointment this morning at the Glan Clwyd hospital.
After a broken night's sleep and having to drink a litre of water for breakfast I made the 20 minute drive to the hospital and found there was plenty of space in the free car park.
I was interviewed by a specialist nurse, given a CT scan, had a cooked breakfast in the hospital cafe, saw the consultant and out of the door by 10:40. I am pleased to report that nothing untoward was found.
The Marble Church stands alongside the A55 road and within a few hundred metres of the hospital. It was crying out for a blip.
When I arrived home, the first snows of the winter could be seen in the distance on the Carneddau Range of mountains in Eryri (Snowdonia). It's 40 km away as the crow flies. I have put a photo in the extra.
