Pruning
I really don't like pruning the abutilons. The advice seems inconsistent and I'm always anxious that I'll get it wrong especially when they are still flowering well. But eventually there comes a point when it can't be put off. The greenhouse is overflowing with abutilons and there is a risk of mildew and mould spreading. So, with teeth gritted, and secateurs cleaned, I made a start this afternoon. Inevitably it means a lot of flowers have to be sacrificed. I saved a few for my blip to illustrate some of the different flower shapes and colours.
