Up In The Trees

Our Thanksgiving Celebrations were a success with great company, tasty food, spiced with interesting conversation and glasses of various libations.

Our lodge is surrounded by trees and today’s Blipfoto shows the view from the dining area.

Today, Alan and I visited Deeside Books in Ballater, probably one of the most interesting source of preowned and new books in Deeside.

Ballater and the surrounding area is full of interest. After the bookshop we drove up to Loch Muick. As we drove further up Glen Muick I noticed that the map on the navigation screen showed several areas effectively missing. I suspect that they cover Balmoral estate. Strange.

At the car park there is an area specifically set aside for dogs to relieve themselves. Obviously dogs cannot read and have to rely on their owner to guide them to this ‘facility’.

Surprisingly I did not buy any books today. Alan did.
