Hummingbird

Before leaving the coast to drive back up to Portland this morning, I tried taking some photos of the hummingbirds that visit this feeder. They're all fairly silhouetted, but I like this one as the wings are actually still enough to see the shape.

Today I flew up to Vancouver, B.C.; a very short flight compared with my trip across the Atlantic! My sister met me at the airport and we chatted away as we travelled on the Sky Train back to her apartment. It's good to see her again!
