A view towards the mountains, from Queen Elizabeth Park. We went there this afternoon with the family my sister Amanda is living with. There were lots of lovely roses and other flowers, and I was torn between a photo of some lavender and this view; but I figured there's lavender back home in Scotland, but no views of Canadian mountains!

Amanda and I Skyped home this morning to say happy father's day to our dad. We went to church and I got to meet a couple of her coursemates before we headed back to the apartment for an interesting and tasty Vietnamese lunch.
