Aunty Mary
We had a bit of an impromptu visit day today - first stop over to see Aunty Mary and I remembered to ask P to take a photo. (Must learn to get better at posing for photos). It was lovely to see her and catch up and we had a quick look aroun the village hall where the rememberance day service had just finished and some of the villagers had gathered information about the young men from the village who died in the war. Not one of them was older than us, it was sobering stuff.
After a flying visit with Mary, we nipped over to see P's sister and her family. She made us a cracking soup and treated us to apple turnovers and vanilla slices for desert, after finding £15 on the floor! Nephew H had done well at the football this morning and was looking super grown up. I also got weed on by the dog Pip which is the second time that had happened now so I might just need to expect it going forward!
The drive home wasn't quite as easy as the one down, but we got there safe and sound and very tired.
