Sofas and floors and kitchen and bleurgh

We put on our grown up pants today and headed to the industrial estate outside Uddingston which has all of the house shops.  With the plastering finished we've got some decisions about what is the next job - so we get a new sofa, or a new floor for the living room, if we get a new floor do we also try and do the stairs at the same time, and also how much do we need to save up for the kitchen which needs replacing.  Spent the morning looks at sofas, floors and finally kitchens.  Chatted to a nice guy in Wren who was pretty amused about how much people were willing to spend on Quooker taps. 

Early afternoon I was all being grown-upped out and we grabbed paint and tasty food in Hamilton before heading home.  I needed to stretch my legs and there was a path I wanted to check out in the village so we went for a bit of a explore walk.  The weather was a bit dark for blipping but we discovered some lovely new paths and a good 5 mile circular walk so that was a bonus.  Curled up on the sofa at the end of the day and watched See how they run which was good, but it was one of these where they'd shown you the funniest bits in the trailer.
