Trash to Treasure

I listened to an absolutely brilliant/challenging/stimulating podcast as I walked home from the supermarket first thing this morning. Later on I was prayer walking and bumped in Sole who was keen again for us to go prison visiting...so I'll try and get the ball rolling on that now she's no longer officially in the system - her tag came off in the summer!! It felt like a special prayer walk today, I'm definitely a visual person and feel like my eyes are drawn to specific things. Today seeing this broken glass, essentially rubbish, but so beautiful all broken, scattered, and with the light shining through, it felt significant for me re the people on my heart at the moment. I love walking and actively looking and listening for what the Spirit might be saying. Today I really felt more direction was given to me/us re future stuff here.
Team meeting this afternoon - loads of bits to sort out, stuff to do with the legal aspects of the charity etc, admin stuff, but also more exciting stuff like planning a 24 hours a day prayer weekend that we'll open up to the island.
The guys went off to prison and Gemma and I carried on brainstorming and chatting. Asha went off to meet a friend in a cafe and do their homework together. I was so so happy for her, it's her first 'social' thing with someone from her new school. She sent me a selfie of them both looking very happy.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The privilege of having time to walk, look and pray.
2) Asha's 'friends date' with Ainara.
3) Feeling refreshed and re-enthused about life here after our Vienna trip.
