Who's this surly looking fellow? It's me!

I'm about to completely rearrange the music room, and as a precursor to that activity I had to clear out an old bureau, which is packed with all sorts of stuff.

It was all going very well, until a came across a pile of cards that the kids have given me over the years, plus loads of pictures they'd drawn, all that kind of thing. So, I lost an enjoyable hour just looking at all those.

I also came across a load of bits and pieces that I should have thrown out years ago: old railcards, work passes, and photos, including the one in today's photo.

I reckon that is from my second year at university, probably taken for a bus pass or similar. Apart from when we went out in the evenings, I don't think I ever left my room without my walkman (you can just make out my headphones).
