Home mid-morning from the overnighter at work, a quick pedal out back, out to The Cameo for a lunchtime screening of 1957 horror classic Night Of The Demon.

And then a very pleasant hour by myself in the bar with a coffee and my book, before heading to Cineworld for a mid-afternooner of The Royal Hotel, a film that promised much but delivered, well, not-so-much in the end.

Home to find my eldest was back from Glasgow for the night. Catch-up time.
