Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

What a lovely sunny morning again. But boy, it was cold! Almost a frost, I think, for those up early enoigh. Archie and I had a walk round the Links. Still so many autumn leaves opportunities.

When JR came home she also took him out for a walk, for we were going into town for lunch at Harvey Nick's. They have a very good set menu £23 for two courses. And we had a great seat by the windows, but the blinds had to pulled down eventually, so blinding was the sunlight.

I came home right after lunch, but JR had a browse round the shops. We can leave Archie with his toys and his bed for about three hours, but with delayed buses and just missing a tram, it was nearer four hours. He didn't mind, but was ready for another walk round the Links. My step count today is 8,349! No wonder I'm stuffed.

Someone had a made a big pile of leaves, so I couldn't resist plonking Archie into them for a photo. He didn't mind. Much.
