Roll With It

Battening Down

Storm Ciara is on its way with high winds and heavy rain forecast, the wind speed is said to be “unprecedented”. Coming from the west it should hit the front of the house where it will do the least damage, hopefully.
Both Mrs S and I suspect that the occasional ‘drip’ we get above the upstairs toilet door emanating from the ‘valley’ between extensions, may turn into something worse - fingers crossed.

I received my e-mail confirmation this morning that I have been allocated a place in the Cenotaph Parade at Whitehall on Remembrance Sunday. Mrs S, also a Veteran, has probably been allocated a place as well but since her e-mail account was hacked and she no longer has access to the account it’s difficult to see how we can get her ticket. I’ve e-mailed the Media & Communications Desk at the RNA Central Office in Portsmouth to see if they can help.
Fingers Crossed - Again!
