Ray Of Sunshine

Like most people I’ve seen lots of rainbows but the one captured this afternoon for my Blip was one of the most vivid I have seen.
Taken from the door of the supermarket where I was again manning the Poppy Appeal stand for an hour or two.
November has arrived and early November, the Remembrance period is always busy but that’s ok, Remembrance resonates with the public again and people are so very generous at Poppy time.
Today a Veteran donated one month of his military pension. One of the last of his generation to undertake National Service and chatting to him I found that his pension is a three digit sum and he donates every year, remarkable generosity.
