Waxwings

There have been Waxwings in the village for a few days, the sometimes appear here at this time of year travelling from Scandinavia to feast on berries. It was good t see them today and take some photos, they do like white berried Rowans. See the extras too. I took hubby for his walk and then staked the wood that was delivered. KK was a great help despite being up since 5am working at the butcher.
Now we have a quiet evening where I will look more closely at the lovely cashmere wool and pattern that arrived today from my lovely friend in Stirling. How thoughtful of her.
