Mopped the kitchen floor this morning. Have only used the vacuum cleaner for a few weeks so was expecting it to be very dirty, but it wasn’t too bad. Popped round to H’s to finalise the foodbank Christmas food appeal. See blip. I wanted it to start on1 December like a normal advent calendar but was over- ruled! Went straight from there to Mansfield to see C. It was a very windy drive and the sky looked ominous but the rain held off. C looks better than last time I saw her but the improvement is a small one. They have been warned that any recovery will be slow. At the
moment no-one knows how complete her recovery will be, but installation of a stair lift has been mentioned. She is hoping to be moved to the local rehab hospital in a week or two but there aren’t many beds. Spent an hour with her- just letting her talk about what she is experiencing but she clearly needed to do that so was pleased to sit and listen.
Popped up to m and s when i got home to look for something fruity and sharp to add to friands which I will make her for the weekend.
