Jardín Botánico

We got caught out again today with the public holiday in Spain for All Saints’
Day. We wondered why it was so quiet first thing and then we realised that all the shops were shut. We went for a walk in our local park and then off to Mass (no excuse when the church is round the corner) and then I found out that the Corte Ingles department store was open for a few hours, so I nipped in to buy our new kettle. The best thing about city centre living is everything being in walking distance.
Off to one of our favourite Valencian places in the afternoon. We love the Botanics and it was perfect weather for them. On the way home we bought some new posters of the city to give our bare walls some colour.
