Cancelled

This photo should have been of Sari Schorr in concert last night. But, as you may be aware, we only found out that the gig had been cancelled when we got to the venue!
Not wanting to miss out on our live music fix this weekend, we have gone out tonight to The Bryce Institute to see American folk/bluegrass duo Hungrytown.
This is their second visit to our little theatre, the first being this weekend a year ago. I took a picture of them performing, but it looked exactly the same as the one I blipped last year, so I went with the empty stage and moody lighting as being symbolic of last night’s disappointment. Thankfully, no such disappointment tonight and we were treated to an excellent two hours of melodic roots music.
Returned home to find a response to my email requesting a refund in respect of last night’s cancelled event. According to the Customer Service Team, they had no knowledge of any cancellation and, as far as they are concerned, the event went ahead as planned. Well, that statement is factually incorrect on two points. The concert categorically did not go ahead - we were there and there was definitely no concert. And their own website states that “this concert has been cancelled.” I’ve sent them a screenshot of the relevant page, and asked if this is sufficient proof. I await their reply with interest…
