Post prandial walk

Goldfinch, starlings and a tenacious sparrow hawk accompanied our walk this afternoon. We also walked beside the stream where I thought I had seen a kingfisher. No one else saw it so it remains currently ‘unverified’!

Our old friends arrived for lunch. They were breaking their journey home to Cornwall with a lovely lunch and catch up at our house. We have all known each other since we met as students!
