Steaming into winter time

Ironically on the last day of summertime 2024 we had one of the sunniest, still days of this cloudy cool rainy year. We were out early sourcing supplies for a busy few days. This afternoon our local boys came to stay. We went for a very muddy walk and coincided with one of the heritage steam trains heading from Cheltenham where the first jump races of the season were taking place. After our meal we played ancient board games.
