Hidcote Manor

Lovely afternoon here. Only 9 degrees but the sun and the leaf colour change were still very impressive. We bought some bargain end-of-season plants for our own garden. ‘Third plant free’ was an added incentive!

The only thing we have to watch is the frost forecast. Last winter we were caught out by the very cold week before Christmas and lost some lovely plants.

We came home via Evesham to stock up with groceries as we have friends coming for lunch tomorrow .We all met for the first time as students over 50 years ago!
