Tuesday Traffic Chaos...

A dry start,followed by drizzle mid day,then sunshine tonight. Welcome to Scotland !
The council have eventually decided to re tar part of the main road from Gorebridge to Penicuik. Unfortunately they have closed it and are diverting the traffic round by us. So lots of lost looking folk ,lots of works vans driving at speed and too much traffic for our single track roads. And I spent the morning hauling 90 blks to the slatted shed here from next door. No fun.
Headed off down the road after lunch to feed the heifers. Was hoping to bring them home tomorrow,but the electric board were digging across the yard and gateway to put a new cable to the transformer,so not happening today. Won't be tomorrow either as they still have to come back and fill in the trench. Bugger.
Phoned Mrs F and Littlemiss to see how they were enjoying their London trip. Seemingly it is warm and wet,a bit like the beer !
