Between jobs (Day 3087)
I headed off to Harray in glorious sunshine to have a look at a faulty immersion heater first thing this morning. As I suspected the safety cut out on the thermostat had tripped and needed to be re-set. A click of a button and the job was done. I gave the customer a bit of advice about her heating, and I suspect I will be back before too long to sort out a really poor installation.
Off to town next to deal with a leaky loo, then to collect some stuff from the merchants.
Home for lunch and a wander in the sunshine with Sigyn before a trip through to Stromness. I collected stuff left on the bathroom re-fit job because it was too windy last week, then headed along to the horses.
The quad bike is being a pain again. The choke cable is stuck solid meaning we can't get the quad started. I spent a while trying to sort it out, before giving up and giving my beautiful wife a hand to put out hay and fill hay nets.
