Clean car

I apologise that this is a rather uninspiring blip but it is not often that my car is so clean both inside and out and i felt the moment had to be recorded! It went for its MOT this morning - and passed - and when I picked it up it was sparkling and so I took this photo the minute I stopped at my usual parking area, before it had a chance to get dirty again. The backdrop is the view to the hills just west of Crieff and I never, ever cease to tire of this fabulous panorama.

While the car was being checked I had a wonderful few hours in town, most of which were spent in the bookshop reading and researching early reading books for my eldest grandson. The lady in the shop was very helpful and I was fascinated to find so many fun stories, well illustrated and with obvious appeal to young readers. I am afraid I found it very hard to choose so came away with rather a selection - I hope he will be delighted.
