October 23
We are starting to get some yellows for fall color now after missing most of the oranges and reds. This photo was taken across from where we had brunch today. It is also the pond below my place, I can see the end that would be to the right from my deck.
We had more rain overnight, then today was mostly cloudy and blustery. After brunch I drove out to Eastern Passage to watch the waves for a bit, then around Cow Bay and home. Later in the afternoon I decided to drive out to Lawrencetown Beach to see the waves there. As I drove thru Cow Bay there is one area that the surfers like. The parking lot there was full so I didn't stop. It must have been too rough at Lawrencetown as there was no one there and usually it is the place where all the surfers go.
Back to work tomorrow, we have about another 7 days of work left, then a few days of raking leaves. There will likely be about a week between finishing the garden cleanups and the leaf raking. There are still a lot of trees that need to lose their leaves.
