I planted some fall crocus this year in another bed. I don't remember planting any in the front garden, but I must have, or maybe I planted them last year and they are just deciding to bloom now. One lone crocus and another one is about 5 feet away.
One of my workers came over this afternoon for a couple of extra hours to help empty my planters. All except one planter is emptied. I left them on the deck to dry for a couple of days. The canna bulbs are spread out by the garage to dry for a few days. Hopefully some of them will survive the winter in the garage.
Next big project is to get the garage organized. I would like to get 2 or 3 pallets so I can set things up off the floor. When it rains, the garage door leaks and it seems to be getting worse.
It was wet early this morning but by the time we started work the rain had stopped and we had sunny breaks this afternoon. Sunshine in the forecast for the rest of the week.
