All the berries

The big holly tree is covered in berries, hard winter to come?  Woke to bad work news and went for a longer walk talking to an Australian producer on the show.  Lot of ranting and sighing over something that really wasn’t in our control.  

The woodland floor is covered with chestnuts and I am going to do some kind of soup or something with them this weekend…chestnut flour feels a bit ambitious but chestnut icecream?  Marrons glace?  

Busy day catching up in the barn. Lots of work to do. Not much rain down here today thank goodness. 

Rushed into Petersfield at lunchtime to drop off some darning

Nice peaceful evening.  Watched a hilarious episode of The Great and then the first episode of Netflix’s The Bodies…which was creepy and good.
