BAFTA screenings…

The time of BAFTA screenings is upon us when we go to early evening screenings of the contending films.  This one, All Of Us Strangers,  was a belter.  So spare,  with only 4 speaking parts it was part ghost story, part love story.  So intense.   We loved it.  V came up to town to see it at the Curzon Soho.  We skipped the Q&A as it would have been so late and legged it home.

Other events of the day, lunch with a writer I hadn’t seen for a while and then a mid afternoon meeting with another writer who is both novelist and dramatist.   His next book is superb and we’re pitching for it.  Against stiff competition I’m sure.

So a good London day…
