With half term landing in the week of international football, we were denied our usual English Championship / League one excursion. Still the silver lining is we'll be at Germany in 2024 so all is not lost. 

In lieu of the football, we set about an alternative excusion and settled on an outing to Ron's Quality Snax - this year's Binley Mega Chippy / social media / food outlet sensation. Although Ron has yet to have a song released , he's riding high on the TikTok / IH charts with his unique marketing techniques.
The tried and tested train to Glasgow / train out of Glasgow combi worked a treat; and onto an 18 to the southern limits of E Kilbride to find Ron in his converted container squirreled away in a corner of an indutrial estate - just past the car wrapping and across from the cermaic cafe.

Alex was wooed by the Boston Belly Buster. Tom was slightly more circumspect with a chicken wrap and had the chips / curry sauce / bacon / cheese special. All recieved double thumbs up. 

We then would our way back into town; hunting trolleys and urban landscape shots before concluding that the East Kilbride shopping experience is better than Glenrothes, but lagging behind Ontario.

Two trains and a bike ride / bus* later I was in and getting the beef olives served up whilst Alex swithered about Tranent v Cowdenbeath on Wednesday. Wee Hearts v Berwick looks a distinct possibility. Had the option of a visit to the Riverside or to the New York Stadium presented itself, no doubt we'd be off there instead.  Any port in a storm. Or indeed fino. Or wino.
