Halloween comes early to Butta Burger in Quartermile. We were being watched as we gathered for our TGIF drinks late this afternoon. It is always a welcome catch up with neighbours to hear all the local gossip and one I look forward to all week.

I am also looking forward this evening to the arrival of my niece and her husband, travelling through Edinburgh en route to Rhodes. We are booked in for a meal at the local Malaysian restaurant where the servings are so large that I need to be careful not to let myself be carried away.
