What are they?

I really liked this group of three toadstools growing in the lawn and took a close shot of them. Then a certain furry four-legged creature came to have a smell of these things that I was so interested in. The resulting photograph made me smile and it just had to be my blip for today.
In the morning I spent a very interesting and amusing couple of hours with the two ladies who organise the recorded readings of Round and About, the monthly publication of local news. In the afternoon I managed about an hour of gardening before the air began to feel damp once again. There was a little time to deal with some emails before I had to prepare our evening meal. I just don’t know how the days disappear so much more quickly than they used to!
