Bright spikes

The mahonia is blooming beautifully, providing a bright spot on these grey days, although the sun did make a brief appearance today. The lovely Lucy came to stay for the day while her humans made a trip to Oban. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to get a photograph of her and Bertie together.
