Salted caramel apple pie

I had a very disturbed night with painful arms as a result of my vaccinations yesterday but both Nick and I have been very fortunate not to have experienced any other ill effects.
It’s been a bit of a cool showery day, not the best of conditions for the start of the car rally this evening.
I decided to use some of our bumper apple harvest in a new recipe that I came across and it was very tasty.
